Short and Long Stories from Crater Lake

The short version:
 
Jonathan and Jenelle spent Thursday, Friday and Saturday of last week backpacking in Crater Lake National Park. They had lots of new experiences, including:
  • Hiking thru rain, hail and snow.
  • Hanging their food from a tree at night to keep it away from bears.

Jenelle’s B-Day

Jenelle celebrated her birthday on Thursday with blueberry pie and a quiet evening at home.  She was excited to receive snowshoes from Jonathan.

Inside (and Outside) our House

We thought everyone might like to see what our new house is like.  The tasteful decorations aren’t ours, of course, but we do aspire to someday have a sofa to sit on.

A New House

We bought a new house over the weekend.  We’re very excited at the thought of having our very own floors to sit on.  We’ll be moving in next month.
