The Vance family is moving to Switzerland. Jonathan has accepted a position with a company near Luzern.
Why? They have great chocolate in Switzerland. The bread is really good, too. The mountains are a bonus. And Jenelle and Jonathan think it would be fun to live in Europe again for a few years.
The Vances will miss the many wonderful people and experiences they have had in Oregon, but they are excited for this new adventure. They currently plan to move in mid-August.

Wow, can’t believe you are moving across the world! We will have to come visit! HOpe this last month or two are not too stressful getting everything ready! Less is more
Congratulations! I have seen gorgeous pictures lately from friends who visited Switzerland. Make sure to find an older copy of ‘Heidi’ that still uses the German words for the mountains. Then you can read to your kids and visit the sites!

Congratulations Vances! I was in Luzerne 2 years ago. Very beautiful city and so close to the Alps. Plus they have chocolatiers almost like coffee shops here.
I hope you guys have a wonderful time over there and if you ever need some babysitting in Switzerland let me know, I’ll fly over there on the double!

Wow! You brought back memories of Julie Andrews, my mission in the England Birmingham Mission and some of the missionaries from Switzerland who were there. I’m sure you will be welcomed with open arms by as your family radiates a sense of happiness which is not so common but well appreciated. Best wishes always.
